The People
Asko Hyttinen is the Founder and President of Strategy First Ltd Oy. Asko consults internationally by advising and helping industrial companies, private equity firms and investment banks in choosing their competitive strategies throughout all phases in the investment cycle.
Prior to forming Strategy First in 2010, Asko held leadership positions in mill management and capital projects in Finland, Germany and Canada. After operational leadership roles he advanced to Senior Vice President Strategy, Investments and M&A in Division Management in USA and Corporate Management in UK and Finland. Asko earned his Master of Science in Paper Technology from the Helsinki University of Technology and an MBA from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland.
Asko served on the Board of Directors of TAPPI (The Technical Association of Pulp & Paper Industry) in 2005-2007 and Thiele Kaolin Company, GA, USA in 2007-2009 and was re-elected to Thiele Board in 2011.
